Gluttony the slime is an indie project I am currently working on its style is cartoony and simple, the big challenge is to synthesise using only 3 colour tones per object in order to make everything understandable and clear.

Gluttony, the protagonist is a simple slime with no colour, the black used only for him makes him always clear and identifiable.

The first world is set in a forest infested with wasps that, corrupted by sloth, have become more and more aggressive. The key to the game is the presence of the number 3, and in fact the enemies are designed to be of 3 different sizes.

The progression within the world so to speak the ‘myelisation’ of the assets is clear and visible through this diagram, once 100 per cent myelisation was reached the objects should have been an obstacle that could hurt the player.

Some of the assets designed for the first zone or first level, style coding was very important.
